315 applications were received for the IX All-Russian Competition of Symphony Orchestra Artists.

The Moscow Philharmonic has completed accepting applications for participation in the Ninth All-Russian Competition of Symphony Orchestra Artists, which will be held from June 29 to July 4, 2026, at the Philharmonic-2 concert complex. The competition is open to musicians aged 20 to 33, representing 14 orchestral disciplines: string instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass), woodwind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon), brass instruments (French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba), percussion instruments, and harp.

This year, the competition received 315 applications from 52 regions of Russia – from the Kaliningrad Region to Yakutia, from the Krasnoyarsk Territory to Primorye. The largest number of participants was From Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Sverdlovsk region, and Tatarstan. Participants represent the largest Russian higher education institutions: the Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Petrozavodsk, and Ural Conservatories, the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, the A.G. Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music, the Central Music School - the Academy of Performing Arts, and many others.

The list of contestants selected for the in-person rounds will be published no later than June 15.
