Debut with Marc Minkowski
In 2022 the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra continues to perform with the world's greatest conductors. On 14 and 15 February, Marc Minkowski, one of the major exponents of authentic performance and the founder of the acclaimed “Musiciens du Louvre”, will conduct the youth orchestra for the first time.
Following a concert with “Musiciens du Louvre” at the Tchaikovsky Hall on 9 February, under the baton of Minkowski the RNYSO will perform classical scores from the 19th century — Beethoven's “Pastoral” Symphony and two suites from Bizet's music for the drama “L’Arlésienne”. The concerts will take place at the “Philharmonia-2” and at the Tchaikovsky Hall.
