On the 1st of October, the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform in Ekaterinburg as part of the 6th Russian Symphony Forum
The Forum will be held at the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Hall from September 30 to October 8 and will become a meeting place for Russian orchestras from Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Yakutsk, Tomsk, Ulyanovsk and Ufa. Thanks to online broadcasts, concerts will be available all over the world.
“The Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Society has taken upon itself the function of organizing such cultural exchanges between regions, albeit within the same stage,” notes Dmitry Liss, artistic director of the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra. "They benefit the participants, and for the audience they become a happy opportunity to get new impulses, a new look at the works."
RNYSO will take part in the Symphony Forum for the first time, where it will perform under the baton of Dimitris Botinis. The program includes pieces by Beethoven, Ravel, R. Strauss and Ducas.
