Dmitry Sinkovsky will perform for the first time with RNYSO
On January 11, Dmitry Sinkovsky, the chief conductor of the Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. S. Pushkin, will make his debut at the helm of the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra in the Tchaikovsky Hall. The maestro’s repertoire is dominated by the music of Baroque and Classicism, and the more interesting is the program that he will present at the helm of the RNMSO: works by Jean Sibelius and Edvard Grieg will be performed.
Dmitry Sinkovsky's performances at the Moscow Philharmonic are a constant success with the public; As a rule, the conductor goes on stage with the groups he leads - the La voce strumentale orchestra and the choir of the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. S. Pushkin. Dmitry Sinkovsky's first performance at the helm of the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will be a completely natural event: many of the La voce strumentale artists are graduates of the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra.
