Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra

As part of the Rachmaninov Days festival, the RNYSO takes part in the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the composer's birth. It will be celebrated on April 1 and 2: on the stage of the Tchaikovsky Hall, the artists of the Youth Orchestra with maestro Valery Gergiev and pianist Denis Matsuev will perform all of Rachmaninov's piano concertos. The program also includes the Symphonic Poem "Cliff", Scherzo for orchestra in D minor and Vocalise orchestrated by the author.

The French conductor Clément Nonciaux makes his debut at the RNYSO console. In 2022, he won the 2nd prize at the 1st International Rachmaninov Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors in Moscow. This March, a few days after the Moscow concert, he is taking part in the prestigious Donatella Flick International Conducting Competition in London, where he will direct the London Symphony Orchestra.
