On February 19, the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Alexander Sladkovsky will open the 15th International Music Festival "Stars on Baikal" in Irkutsk. Together with the soloist — the artistic director of the project, Denis Matsuev — the collective will perform a Piano concerto by Frederic Chopin. The second part of the program will be performed with the Austrian violinist and violist Julian Rachlin. The next day, RNYSO with Alexander Sladkovsky and Denis Matsuev will give a charity concert for doctors. And on February 21, Julian Rachlin will take the conductor's stand and RNYSO will perform works by Shostakovich and P. I. Tchaikovsky. The soloist in this concert will be cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, winner of the 14th International Tchaikovsky Competition.
