Fifth All-Russian Competition for Symphony Orchestra Artists
The Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra continues its creative cooperation with the Sirius Educational Center. The orchestra artists will again hold an intensive workshop for young musicians aged 11 to 17 from different cities, who will then perform as part of the orchestra in three concerts.
The tour will open on June 1 with a program addressed to children and youth, a free live broadcast of the concert will be available to all Internet users at meloman.ru and rnmso.ru websites, the group of the Moscow Philharmonic at VK.com and the official YouTube channel, as well as on the website and in the official groups of the Sirius federal territory at VK.com. On June 4, the Youth Orchestra will dedicate its program to Sergei Rachmaninov. On June 10, works by composers from Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Italy and, of course, Russia will be performed. On June 12, RNYSO will complete a series of performances at Sirius with a program dedicated to the Day of Russia. All concerts will be conducted by the young maestro Timur Zangiev. On June 4 and 10, the well-known musicologist Yaroslav Timofeev will be the host of the program.
All RNYSO performances will take place on the stage of the Great Hall of the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Sochi.
